Beginning Runners Classes Underway

'Fortify Your Fitness' classes have kicked off at Rowan Cabarrus Community College, Research Campus in Kannapolis. The Tuesday evening class has 32 participants and the Thursday morning class has 10. Both classes are still open to join through the upcoming week. Last week we covered the overall plan for the program, and everyone got a handout with tips and a running schedule. This coming week, our focus will be on Running Shoes and Equipment. Our group run this week will be at a distance of 1 mile, after just over 6 tenths last week. It is a great class with lots of wonderful people who are ready to get hold of their health and wellness. If this schedule doesn't work out, check back for more classes soon.
